it is way to hot in these trousers during the summer and i am sweating buckets everyday

why are we still stuck in the 1950s with this dress code its honestly so stupid and uncomfortable
its literally just clothes who even cares if a boy wears a skirt lol
I’m just not sure what the issue is, us girls come into school in skirts all the time which expose just as much skin as shorts so why can’t both boys and girls wear a skirt or shorts ?
