It is time that we find a cure and improve the care of women with endometriosis! According to the Heritage Dictionary, endometriosis is \"a condition, usually resulting in pain and dysmenorrhea, which is characterized by the abnormal occurrence of functional endometrial tissue outside the uterus.\" This awful, often debilitating disease has not received the same exposure and funding for research as other women diseases. Furthermore, health insurances often do not provide coverage for women diagnosed with endometriosis. We need to accomplish the following goals with your signature: 1. Increase public awareness of endometriosis i.e., What are the common symptoms How is the disease currently being diagnosed What are your options for reducing the pain experienced and slowing down the formation of endometrial tissue outside of the uterus 2. Increase the funds for medical teams searching for a cure 3. Obtain sufficient health insurance coverage for laparoscopies (the only current means to diagnose endometriosis) and medications or shots which are used to keep the endometriosis at rest. We have a long road ahead, but with your signature, we can make progress and improve the quality of life for all women enduring the pain from this disease!

Living with this for 10 years and still no answers from doctors. It feels like no one cares.

This pain is real and people act like it is nothing. We need way more funding for research now.

My wife suffers everyday and the insurance companies just deny everything. It is criminal.

Need more research on this. My sister had to pay thousands out of pocket just to get a diagnosis.
