We just hit 100 signatures demanding the Illinois State Police stop ignoring the law. This agency treats the statutory deadline like a suggestion while they turn peaceful citizens into criminals and I am fed up with their blatant defiance.

I applied for my FOID renewal 11-01-19 and it's 03-13-20 & I've had no response. It says processing on the website. I also have a valid CCL , but I don't know if I can legally carry without my FOID card and can't get anybody to answer the phone to tell me!
Stop allocating our fees to other departments and process our FOID cards in a timely manner. Don’t turn law abiding citizens into criminals because you can’t get it together.
I have been waiting for approval to PURCHASE A FIREARM since 10/9/2019. And I still to this day have not been cleared! But 3 days later My WIFE APPLIED for approval. And got a reply within 24 hrs!!! Why is this? can you help me?
I do not own a gun but it doesn't stop me from knowing this wrong! Get the permits out in the 30 days the law alots each application. If you do not have the manpower hire help! THIS IS THE LAW AND YOU ARE IN CONTEMPT OF IT!
Renewed FOID at end of Oct. 2018 and still have not received card as of today 5-15-19. Called ISP ph.# cust service numerous time and each time get disconnected. I've been caring old card and a print out from ISP website of the approved renewal.
unconstitutional
The foid card is unconstitutional and is just a scam for the state to make more money. Americans have a right to own guns without the state or government knowing.

Retired after 36 years of federal government law enforcement cant be that hard to do my background checks as they were conducted every 5 years for my job. This is really disappointing.
