Capital High School has classrooms and bathrooms with black mold all over them, during the cleaning process they just wiped it down with a rag thinking it solved the problem. Capital's principal is letting kids still come to school with the mold still there. It's going to take awhile to fully get rid of the mold not just a week. Black mold can be harmful to students breathing it in, you can have trouble breathing and experiance symptoms similar to a cold, but it could end up much worse. Sign this petition if you think Capital should be shut down until itcs professionally cleaned and safe for our children to come back.
The momentum is incredible. This is clearly a priority for our community now.

My two sons go there. One has severe asthma. They've complained about headaches and being sick. Something needs to be done and I mean immediately!

Hoover could not go to school when it was flooded so, why should Capital High go to school with black mold?

Theres no way they cleared out all the classrooms in less than a week. It's just going to come back. They need to get rid of it all, not just to get to "standards"

My niece goes to school there. I am concerned for her health as well as everyone else in the building. I feel we need to be 100% positive that everyone there is not at risk and that what has been done was effective in assuring everyone is safe from illness caused by black mold.
