The residents of the 4 in a blocks in Lundin Crescent, Tayport, Fife are sick of dampness and mould around windows plaguing their flats. The majority of the flats have young children living in them, some of which have respiratory problems. Fife Council have been asked time and time again to rectify the situation but to no avail. We demand action from Fife Council and we demand it now.
I really did not think this would gain so much momentum but seeing the stories coming in from neighbors makes me feel like we are finally being heard. It is just honestly such a relief to know that I am not the only one dealing with these damp walls because some days it feels like we are shouting into the void with the council.

Have a temporary fix for 5 months now holding my bathroom ceiling up, workers say its structural damage been caused over long period. 3 weeks later still awaiting housing officer to come assess what to be done. Had the same problem with Fife Council! It's unbelievable that they let people live that way! It should be sorted or they get a new house.

I'm moving in there and don't want this being a big problem as I had it in my last council flat
