We, the undersigned citizens of Zambia, urge the government to take immediate action to end gambling in our country.
Gambling has severe social and economic consequences, including:
- Increased poverty and debt
- Family breakdown and social problems
- Corruption and crime
We believe that it is the responsibility of the government to protect its citizens from the harmful effects of gambling.
Therefore, we demand that the government:
1. Repeal the current laws that allow gambling
2. Close all gambling establishments and online platforms
3. Provide support and resources for those affected by gambling addiction
I honestly never thought this would reach one hundred signatures when I first started. This is completely down to your passion and your willingness to speak up about this issue. Thank you for showing me that I am not alone in this.

I am truly humbled by the messages you have shared with me about the toll this issue takes on our neighborhoods. It was never my intention to lead this effort but seeing your commitment gives me hope that change is actually possible through our collective presence.

Gambling is destroying many lives and families in Zambia, I'm still struggling to overcome it and I wouldn't wish for other people to fall into this terrible vice.

Gambling has destroyed families and thus anything that threatens the institution of family is a threat to us all. As a Christian nation gambling has no place in Zambia.
