We, the undersigned, following the tragic accident at the bottom of Bishop Street, call on Coventry City Council to reverse the dangerous and disastrous so-called “shared spaces” experiments in the city centre and urgently bring back controlled crossings, including traffic lights, to give pedestrians a safe time to cross the city’s roads.
