The Free School Meals For All Act of 2021 would provide school meals for all students in grade school. The bill prohibits schools from charging its students for meals served during the school day. The bills states that no child in California should experience hunger and every public school student should benefit from healthy meals during the school day. kids cant learn when they are hungry. this is just common sense.
ABOUT TIME. no child should go thru the school day with an empty stomach.
Please make this happen. food is a basic right for every student.
My son often tells me his friends dont have money for lunch. its heartbreaking how many kids deal with this.
Finally. stop stigmatizing the kids who need the help and just feed them all.
