This grading system is not fair. U-46 is trying to make it easier and easier to graduate. Kids need to work hard and get percent grades to reflect their work. Colleges use percent grading systems because that's the best way. I can't get a 4.0 because everything is so biased and unfair. Kids who dont care get C's and kids who used to get A's get B'c. Its not fair that the kids who try now have to get B's and C's just so the kids who don't care can get passing grades.
it's hard for a student like me to continue a reputation of a 4.0, due to the grading I have to learn more advanced subjects that I am not ready to learn yet and so I get graded lower than what I know. Making my overall grade look bad.
I don't believe the teachers were adequately trained. It hurts students who excel as well!
There should be something in between. You are either a master or just proficient.

this grading system does not allow for acknowledgment of extra effort or lack of effort per student. I feel it just averages out the classes/schools. This could cause children to feel that excelling isn't worth the extra effort.
