Eliminate sales Tax on all animal feed

I have a feed store and was recently in sales tax audit. I thought all animal feed was exempt. So I have not been charging tax on animal feeds. They have me charged with paying ninty something thousand dollars in taxes and penalties on sales tax that I did not charge or collect from the customer. There are some grey areas as to what is taxed and what’s not taxed. Auditors say livestock feeds are exempt but told me I had to charge tax on corn because people buy it to feed deer. That leaves me to police whether they are feeding livestock or deer. The taxes collected on some feeds is as much as our stores gross profit. Since Covid dog foods have nearly doubled in price. I see lots of people come in scraping up their change to buy dog food so they have money left for gas and groceries. I feel the state should eliminate all animal feed taxes. Watch ASPCA.org commercial they show malnourished animals and ask people to send money. Im only showing this organization to show how they ask us to donate money. I am not asking anyone to donate anything. If we can get enough signatures I hope to share this with the legislators in hopes that we can eliminate sales tax on animal feeds I feel this would help people be able to afford to feed their animals better as well have more grocery money. I would like to know how many people in the state of Alabama would sign a petition to eliminate all taxes on all animal feeds? It’s time the state gives some money back to the animals and the people. https://www.aspca.org/
