Support Hadi Mardikian’s right to play at the U17 Boys National Championship.
A 16-year-old should not be punished for administrative errors beyond his control. Soccer Canada has the discretion within its own rules to overturn this decision—but they are currently refusing to act on it. By doing so, they are preventing Hadi from representing his team at Nationals, despite this stance being contrary to the principles of fairness and inclusion that Soccer Canada is meant to uphold.

Hadi I should not be penalized for an organization of professional adults errors in attention to details. Human errors are okay. Not taking accountability and actioning the error immediately for the best interest of a youth is a poor representation. Please do the right thing and amend the decision.
If the athlete was eligible AND PLAYED FOR the province at Canada Games, this same eligibility should apply for the athlete to play at Nationals. I understand they’re likely different organizations (Canada Games vs Nationals), but the provincial side of the house would likely be the same… especially as a smaller province.
Si cette erreur existe depuis quelques années je ne vois pas pourquoi elle ne fut pas corriger par les hautes instances avant. S’il y a faute, elle se trouve au niveau de Sport Canada et non celle du jeune. Cela aurait du etre corriger avant donc le jeune devrait jouer et ne devrait pas etre puni pour cela.
As someone who sits on a board and is actively involved in youth sports I can understand and appreciate how administrative errors can happen. However, it should never come at the cost of a youths potential to play. This is inexcusable.
Hadi has been an exceptional athlete for his club and for soccer NB these past years. It would be unfortunate that he should be punished for something he had no control over. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Let the lad play, sports are about building character and learning how to be a member of a team, don't let some paperwork be the reason he is negated the chance to experience both. Thank you Derek Standring
