The ESwatini Electricity Company has officially cancelled the proposed three percent increase. This result serves as a testament to the collective pressure exerted by those of us who demanded relief during these difficult times.
the ESwatini Electricity Company is planning to raise electricity cost by 3%
the cost are already high
many Swazi's have lost jobs because of the on going purge
the ESwatini Electricity board members should think how bad this will affect the Citizens.... we can't afford their 3% it's too much already
The response to this petition has demonstrated a clear consensus regarding the financial burden placed on our citizens. It is evident that the current economic climate makes any increase in utility costs entirely unsustainable for many households. Your participation confirms that this issue requires immediate attention from the leadership at the Eswatini Electricity Company.

I personally think you should stop the 3% domestic tariffs increase. You can't be making so much profit and not changing lives with some of it and still demanding an increase because South Africa decides to increase theirs. It's unjust for Swazi citizens who live below the poverty line

How does eec raise their tarrifs when we facing COVID19, dwindling economy. Which nation are you serving, if you dont consider their plite? And besides you are quick to raise the tariffs but soo slow on service provision. What are we paying you for?
