Please open schools. My kids need social interaction between kids their ages. And they need something to do besides video games and tv all day.

To reach every student, we must teach face to face. Using guidelines at all times is no more risky than going to a store.

We have a lot of physicians signing this petition as well. Dr. Allison, M.D., I would love to see your data supporting your premise that the flu is more dangerous than COVID.

Children need to be in school. The annual flu is more dangerous for children than Covid19. For those that want to stay home, they can be paired with teachers who also want to stay home.

My children NEED to have face to face interaction with their teachers! My son is transitioning to middle school (a very crucial year for kids), and my daughter needs structure EVERY day. My husband and I are BOTH essential workers and are not able to assist our children with remote learning the way they will need. In addition we will have to hire someone to come into our home to stay with them/assist them with their schoolwork. This is going to become extremely expensive. I know that there are MANY other families in the same situation. PLEASE open these schools for these children to have face to face instruction with their teachers!! They need this not only academically, but also socially and mentally.

Support face to face. If option C us decided upon I feel the teachers need to be in the classroom providing a professional and instructional environment for the students.

Face to face time is cruital to some students. Some children cannot learn everything they will need just virtually.

As a teacher, I refuse to put my health at risk for anyone. I cannot wear a mask all day. We need remote learning for the first 9 weeks until a plan is well developed for teachers. We should not be forced to choose between our health and our jobs.
