Our children need to be in a classroom setting! Personally my child needs face to face instruction. Online learning DOES NOT work well for him.

It is imperative that our children go back to school in person. Children need the interaction with other children and it’s important to their mental health, some kids rely on school for meals. Some children do not have access to internet and parents do not have childcare for their children. Research shows children are less likely to spread the virus.

These radical, across the board decisions have not taken parents concerns into consideration at all. And there are many, many people who feel the same. The dangers of corona virus are no where near justifiable by these radical changes to our school systems still showing basically a ZERO% death rate in children under 18. Our kids are suffering in many ways due to this widespread hype, overreaction and misinformation. Parents and kids should have the right to live normal lives and receive the teaching and interaction they need without masks. Those who are worried should be able to safeguard as they like and conversely, those who are not, should be able to act freely as well!

My son NEEDS face to face instruction. He needs all of his senses engaged. Online only will not work for him - and for kids that already struggle, online only is surely a way for them to get "lost" in the system. For those that want online, FINE. There is not a one size fits all answer - so please don't turn my child's education into a one size fits all method. His education is too important to me. Please let us have a choice of what works best for our family and each of our children. Online only is not a realistic option for families that have working parents. It will create an incredible amount of stress and tremendous hardships for many. Again, just give families the CHOICE of what works best for their families.
