Working parents cannot afford to take off work every 2 weeks nor afford daycare. And if we throw all the kids in daycare shouldn’t we just have the kids go back to school like normal??

My 9 year old son needs real face to face socializing and learning. He needs peers and classmates. My husband and I are both essential workers who could never work from home and are vested state workers. We will provide the teacher with assistance in planning and arranging and supplies. We have to work- my son spent the summer at day camp with no issues or concerns. Our kids need in face learning. If there are others that want to home school or learn virtual, that’s totally understandable. Let that leave it open for the rest of the working community middle
Class.

We need to open schools. It can be done safely. All children need to be in school with their teachers. If daycare can pull it off surely schools can K-12

Children need face to face but parents should have the option to choose what they feel is best for their child. One size does not fit all.

Some high schoolers have trade classes. They need these classes in order to come out of HS and being able to continue to college to finish their career!

Kids need to be around their peers....laughing, sharing secrets, playing...BEING KIDS! No masks, no social distancing. Let kids be kids around a virus with a 99% survival rate.
