I fully support face to face instruction and would send my child to school everyday if that was an option. Remote learning hinders his education. I work in healthcare and receive frequent updates on COVID on an organizational and state level. I would never do anything that I believed to put the health of my child or others at risk; however, I given the TRUE information that we have verses probables, speculation and inflated numbers, I feel comfortable with sending my child back to school for in person instruction.

We need to be able to have the option if we want the option. Not sure what we will personally do yet but if we choose school, then I want them in that classroom, playground and gym! All or nothing!

Please send these poor kids back to school. Lets leave politics out of this and listen to the experts. When schools closed in March my daughter was devastated. Every day we did remote learning and multiple days a week she shed tears because it just wasn't the same as being in school!

Please let our kids go back to school in a classroom, face to face. It’s the best way and only way in my opinion. They do not learn on the same level online. It’s their future success that depends on today’s quality of education. Online is not the best choice at all.

I hope we're all keeping in mind that in person learning will not allow for socializing or interacting with peers. They have to stay 6 feet apart - how much time will teachers be policing distance instead of being allowed to teach? And no volunteers to help? No fulltime nurse or nurse assistant? What a waste of time when our kids could be learning safely from home!

Pediatricians also aren't letting you wait in their office even with a mask. My child and I had to sit in the car for 30 minutes waiting to for our appt because we weren't allowed to wait in the drs office because it wasn't safe. So not super convinced that that message isn't being twisted.

Let's keep politics out of the discussion, and focus on facts. Don't let the media outlets make this decision for you. Pediatricians have said that kids need to be in school for their well-being. Most of us want to get back into the classroom as soon as possible. I trust our Board to make the best decision they can about this, and either way, WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS!

I’m a teacher and I want to go back! I have one lung and no colon and of course I’m cautious but I need to be at work and teach these kids. They need community - let’s do this!

There are something’s that we as parents aren’t qualified of teaching. We don’t have the skills needed. And remote learning doesn’t allow our children to reach their fullest potential. This isn’t fair to them as students or as future leaders of our society.
