My daughter is taking all AP classes and needs the in person learning. Recorded instruction is not remote learning. She self taught herself pre-calc last semester during remote learning because the instruction was sub-par. Thanks to Khan academy she was able to learn it. I know numerous teachers that do not want to do remote, but miss the kids and true teaching. I wouldn’t mind remote learning if it Were live instruction, but it is not. You are failing our kids and sadly NC students will fall behind other peers in other states.
Lastly, our kids need school for their social and emotional well being. I believe you will see in increase in suicides if kids are isolated for much longer.

There are thousands of children in dire need of in classroom education. I have to go out to work every day in order to get paid and so do teachers. The. End. Children need to be in school.

Every child needs to be with other children and with a teacher who knows when they need help without having to say a word or raise a hand.

Plan B provides redundant safety precautions. There will be less than 1/3 of student body in the building at one time. Kids need to get back to in person instruction

If daycares are able to be open for children of essential workers and are able
To figure out how to make it work, then I don’t understand why you can allow the ones who want to do a virtual environment can do so and that allows space for those who want to be back at school who are wanting that environment to learn. Not every child will succeed at learning from home. I realize it’s a no win situation but give the children and parents a choice!

Make it a choice to stay home without penalty not penalize our children's education. If needed, have them wear masks. Our kids need to be in the classroom.

please no school i moved on with my life. this break has taught me so many things. i took this time and caught up with myself. school showed me that i actually hate it there, no words can describe my anger towards going to school everyday. being at home with my family this whole time became the most important thing in my life and i don’t want school to get rid of that like it did before.
