Our nation is drastically and rapidly falling ever more behind other countries in education, because we still are not taking the education system seriously enough. Corporations, (and other entities of "wealth") should INVEST in their own future by donating extensive profits to education. Society should finally realize the INVESTMENT value of providing high salaries to educators -- in stead of to sports "heroes", et al, would draw great educators to the field. Ultimately, this over all concept of education as an INVESTMENT in our future could, indeed, actually SAVE our FUTURE!!!
