We used to have early Fridays that ended at 2:30, this year it ends at 3:30. High schoolers need a break every week to regain their momentum throughout the year. Especially considering that Friday is the holy day of the week and it's a beloved day for all Muslims, we deserve an opportunity focus on the importance of Jumaah and not on the temporary "importance" of academics. School is temporary, deen is forever.

I am truly overwhelmed by the messages I have received regarding how much this adjustment would mean for our community. It was never my intention for this to become something this significant but seeing your stories keeps me motivated to continue pressing forward.

honestly 3:30 is way too late on a friday. we barely have time to get ready for khutbah usually.
Bring them back pls! It helped so much having that extra hour to catch up on everything.
LITERALLY miss the old schedule so much. why did they even change it in the first place??
we need this change asap. fridays should be focused on jummah not sitting in class until late
3:30 is just dragging honestly. really need that early release back

Isn't Friday an eid for us? I looked forward to at least a little bit of school being cut off for a bit
