THIS IS INTENDED FOR THE FAMILIES THAT HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE AUGUST 2014 - MAY 2016. NEW FAMILIES ARE WELCOME TO SIGN AS WELL. IF YOUR CHILD WAS NOT ENROLLED AT EAA FROM AUGUST 2016-OCTOBER 2016 THIS PETITION WAS SENT TO YOU IN ERROR. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UNLESS YOU INTEND TO RETURN ON JANUARY 9TH 2016.
On Monday 11/7 I will be taking the following demands to the board. If they do not comply by 12/23/15, we will not return on 1/9/2017. The school will not receive their funding in February of 2017 and they will eventually be forced to permanently close their doors.
NO STUDENTS = NO FUNDING = NO SCHOOL
By signing this GOOD FAITH petition, you are showing solidarity with the EAA families.
* You agree to NOT withdraw your child/children until 12/23/16.
*You agree NOT to return 1/9/17 if our demands are NOT met.
*You agree to return on 1/9/2017 if ALL of our demands are met.
Brief description of our demands are listed below. These are all necessary and non negotiable.
-Blount no longer executive director
-He is to remain board member/ founder, not board chair, and has no more authority than any other board member.
-Blount will not have an office on campus & will not be on campus unless he has a scheduled meeting.- ALL OF THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE / GOVERNING DOCUMENTS AMENDED AND EASILY ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC/PARENTS*School charter*Charter contract *Articles of Incorporation* Policies and Procedures *Conflict of Interest policy * Amended and restated Bylaws*Budget*-No additional campuses, Boca Raton or elsewhere, can be opened until this campus has achieved a B rating or higher. -None of these amendments can be renegotiated or amended until 5/2018.
