It's a total disgrace at having to petition for something that should be given without question

this is a no brainer and should not even have got to the stage of petition, renfrewshire already priced most parks outwith afc means resulting in numerous clubs folding. what are these kids doing now without the welcome distraction of 2 nights training and a game at weekend, i despair at the decisions made at council level :(

all school pitches should be open to sub groups to train after school hour after all people pay council tax that help provide these facilities in the first pla e

Why build these pitches and not allow people to use them. We should be encouraging youngsters to take up sports as much as possible instead of making it hard for them to keep fit.

What is the point of spending the tax payers money on astro pitches then refusing local football teams to use them...Just think of the money the council is missing out on with keeping the gates closed? ???Common sense please.

The householders who are complaining would be complaining even more if the kids who want to use this facility if they were out committing vandalism in their area. Come on give the kids a chance
