Doctors agree these tests are not meant for screening, and will only drive up “case numbers” with false positives. Stop watching the news, and start reading the science. COVID remains extremely mild on school aged students and anyone under age 50.

My daughter is at morningside in the special needs department after losing her whole childhood to cancer (she beat brain cancer twice.) After having to live in a hospital for a year at age four, and then again at age five. What she has endure during those times is something I would never wish on anyone, especially a child. She now suffers from PTSD from all the poking, testing, MRI’s, radiation, and surgery’s.
I for one will not allow her to be subjugated to any testing from her safe place, yes school is her safe place, because for one….. It’s not a hospital, and second….. It gives her back a little of what she lost of her childhood, And her independence.
I had COVID last month (August) and she stayed home until I was negative.( FYI no one in my house caught it from me) She was even tested two weeks after I recovered because she came home sick from school she Does not have an immune system. So she was tested for everything. she was positive for strep (that she gave it to all four of us) and she was Negative for COVID.
What this is suggesting is endless testing, and a lot of money wasted. Along with a lot of angry parents not wanting a school to overstep their boundaries.

There is no need to test or quarantine people who aren't sick, especially children. We have been giving up our freedom a little at a time and if we don't stand up, we will wake up one day with no freedom.

Kids have enough to worry about. Without having to worry about testing everyday! They should be allowed to go to school in peace and learn!! If they feel like they are sick then the parents can take them to get tested..
