Dear Valley Water:

I conserve water to benefit the environment. Therefore, I'm extremely disappointed Valley Water has sued the State Water Board over the Bay Delta Water Quality Control Plan. Please drop the lawsuit immediately to regain the support of your constituents.

The Bay Delta Water Quality Control Plan provides critical water for our ecosystems. There are so many ways for us to conserve and reuse water. So I'm confused and disappointed about your lawsuit against the State Water Board's Plan. Please drop the lawsuit immediately and support your constituents!

I am a registered voter in Santa Clara county. I am very opposed to the lawsuit against the State Water Board over the Bay Delta Water Quality Control Plan. We elected you to protect the water for people, not for agriculture. Please drop the lawsuit.

Let's accelerate recycled water programs instead of suing the State Water Board to grab more water from the environment. This lawsuit in inconsistent with the values of Santa Clara Valley residents!

Four years ago I wrote a letter urging the Water Board to adopt the 2016 Bay Delta Plan and SED. My thinking on this has not changed. Water is a public trust resource, meaning that it belongs to the people. We need to make water for fish a priority- and a legacy for our children.

Bay Delta Water Quality Plan spreads the mitigation of fishery declines to all upstream water users instead of just shutting down the South Delta pumps for the SWP & CVP, where you get most of your imported water. Why would you sue the State to stop that???

Let's manage water use, not rely on so much water from 160 miles away. I moved here from Massachusetts 10 years ago; there was more water-demand management in that wet state than there is here.

Conservation an reclamation of water resources must be promoted to ensure that waste is reduced and citizens take the water crisis seriously. Valley Water must do their part to promote water conservation and drop any pending law suit!
