Drop the Bay Delta Plan Lawsuit

Conservation an reclamation of water resources must be promoted to ensure that waste is reduced and citizens take the water crisis seriously. Valley Water must do their part to promote water conservation and drop any pending law suit!

Higher flows are a win win!

Any plan for our water resources must be carefully and intelligently researched so the needs of ours and future generations may be met. Please drop the lawsuit.

The takings from our rivers have got to be curbed or there will be nothing left for fish or fowl or our Bay ecosystem. Cadillac Desert said it all long ago and the worst is coming true.

We need a balance between nature and the economy. But this lawsuit does not accomplish this in any way shape or form.

Please get with the times. We can not continue to exploit nature as if it is inexhaustible. Live and let live. Give, so thee may receive. I urge you to drop participation in this misguided lawsuit. The revised Bay/Delta Plan is a moderate, conservative response to an ecological crisis.

The Tuolumne River Trust has been studying water flow from it’s origins at Hetch Hetchy to the Bay Area for years and we totally agree with the plan that they crafted. As a resident, you probably know that the Tuolumne River supplies over 2.7 million people with drinking water. You might also know that about 50% of the Tuolumne's natural flow is directly diverted out for agricultural purposes. That's a lot of water! You know that only 20% of the Tuolumne's natural flow reaches the San Joaquin River. The Central Valley Authority (CVA) diverts most of that glow for agriculture. We must find a better balance. The “Voluntary Agreements” (VAs) put forth by State Agencies and Irrigation Districts currently stand as a threat to restoring the Tuolumne and other Central Valley rivers. Thank you!

Don't you all get it yet? The planet has changed and will continue to change, and acting in the interests of business, like normal, will kill us all.

I support the Bay Delta Water Quality Control plan and urge you to drop the lawsuit against it.

I am a registered voter of Santa Clara County. Please drop the lawsuit. Maintaining and improving the existing environment is more important than planning for future residents - future growth should only occur if the environment can be preserved, it is the only solution we have left here locally, and on earth as a whole.

Please do the right thing and drop the lawsuit for the benefit of all.

Our bay needs the additional water that will be released and studies show that there is enough water to serve all needs. Please look more closely at the information presented by Tuolumne River Trust.

It is critical that everyone conserve water and every Water District support water conservation. Do not sue over the Bay Delta Water Plan. It is important to life in California.

The Bay Delta Water Quality Control Plan provides critical water for our ecosystems. There are so many ways for us to conserve and reuse water. So I'm confused and disappointed about your lawsuit against the State Water Board's Plan. Please drop the lawsuit immediately and support your constituents!

Drop your lawsuit against the State Water Board over the Bay Delta Water Quality Control Plan. Water for people is what we elected you to protect. NOT water for Big Ag and for endless development to bring more and more people to an area where sufficient water is already questionable for the current residents..... your constituents.

Water for the people not to be passed off so lightly to those with Big $.
