POSITIVE MESSAGES ON THE OVERPASS GIVE THE WORLD SOME HOPE!

Life has many ups and downs and sometimes it hard to rise above the lows and stay positive when society puts so much pressure on us all with expectations, laws, obligations, being able to make ends meet to raise a family or even take care of ourselves... Sometimes in life we need to take some time to ourselves and realize what is important, our happiness...Christopher Araujo, 19 of Hamilton has given many city surroundings hope with his positive graffiti messages on the overpass... Sadly this young man has recently been charged and held for bail with mischief under $5000. There are so many terrible crimes that continue to happen everyday with no justice and this young man is being punished for an act of kindness... Sure this may seem like vandalism but I think the justice system needs to have some compassion for this matter and come to the realization that this young man has probably even saved lives with his messages... One smile from a stranger, one compliment, one hug, one song or even one message can turn someones entire day around or perhaps even their life.... Although vandalism may not be the answer I think this young man has inspired the community to help to make a bigger difference in the world... This petition has been started to have government approved signs made on the overpass on all the high-ways to give the world some hope... We see signs everyday on what we shouldn't be doing but never what we should be doing to make our lives a better place...
