We are asking Dallas Township to make repairs at the corner of Elmcrest Drive and Lake Street so water does not accumulate at the intersection making it a hazard to vehicles and pedestrians. With the colder weather approaching this hazard is increased by water freezing on the roadway making it extremely slippery. Making repairs will also save the township money by not having to call out the Road Department at night to salt the roadway when water does not drain properly and freezes in the intersection at night. This hazard has been getting worse and it is only a matter time before the townships inaction is the cause of an accident and/or injury.
