The time has come in our great Commonwealth that we have a new direction. Today, our coalfields are under attack from an out-of-control federal government. Our communities are weakened from the scourge of drug addiction. Our state ranks near the bottom in education. New jobs go to other states and our economy is stagnate. Our state employees and our public school teachers are afraid as their pensions are threatened by short-sighted politicians.

We are asking that Kentucky look to the mountains of Eastern Kentucky--to Pike County--for a new brand of leader. One who is bold. One who has the vision. One who has the ability to unite all of Kentucky for the dawning of a new day of opportunity and purpose.

We, the undersigned, are asking for this new brand of leadership that can move us forward. We, the undersigned, are signing this petition to Draft Will T. Scott for Governor of Kentucky.

Judge Will T. Scott has the record of public service and service to our country as a soldier on the field of battle. This lifetime of service gives him the skills we need now to lead our state in a positive direction for all of Kentucky citizens.
