Upon the suggestion of several Physical Therapy (PT) students, The Rock, the official student publication of San Pedro College, opens this petition in order to evaluate and to gauge the consensus of the PT studentry regarding the termination of Dr. Manolete Guerrero as the Program Dean.
This is an objective test and it does not reflect the views and opinions of the student publication.
To sign this petition, just log in your Gmail account. We will be filtering duplicate signatures to preserve the validity of the data that will be gathered in this medium. We would like to iterate that this petition is only open for the CURRENTLY ENROLLED PT students of the institution (incoming 2nd year students - incoming 5th year students). Signatures coming from alumni and other people not officially enrolled in the college will be invalidated.

Every night when my dad comes home I see how tired he is. He falls asleep on the living room couch after dinner. He's a busy man and barely has any time for teaching. I've always wondered why he still persisted. He loves to teach with all his limbic lobe. He loves inspiring people by sharing the knowledge that he has accumulated over the years in neurology and neurorehab to encourage them to move forward in their careers. He always has that glint in his eye when he speaks to a crowd. I hate to see him treated in this way by the institution that he has served for 22 years.
He's a dedicated and itellectual person and an asset of the PT Department. I cannot imagine the department without this great man- one of the founder of the SPC - Health Center and "The Dean" of the SPC PT Department ever since it started.
I'm just an incoming 2nd year student and didn't have any interactions with Dr. Guerrero yet but I am hearing lots of positive feedback from my superiors about him as a mentor. They say that experience is the best teacher and from those feedback, I know that they have been taught by the best. I really hope and pray that we, the "babies" of the PT department, can have the chance to experience the mighty Doc G of PT department.
He has done so many things for the school and especially for our department. I remembered him rushing to school one time just to teach us Neurology even though he had a flight to Sweden. He deserved so much better by how the admins handled out his so-called "termination".
The Department of Physical Therapy will deteriorate from its current quality, and will not improve as it should without Dr Guerrero. The challenge in teaching is trying to get every single detail of knowledge towards the learner. From my experiences, no one can do it as good as Dr Guerrero.

He's one of the greatest teachers I've ever come across. He embodies the excellence of the pt department in spc. Losing him will spell the end of such excellence the pt department's been upholding all these years
