We, the alumni of Quezon City Science High School, express utmost outrage in the return of Dr. Zenaida P. Sadsad as principal of our Alma Mater. We cannot allow our school’s tradition of excellence and virtue be marred once more by the reinstatement of a despotic, vindictive and corrupt administrator.

During her past term as principal of QCSHS (October 2007 to December 2009), Dr. Zenaida P. Sadsad had given us enough reasons to demand her removal from office. She went as far as defying the constitutional right to freedom of speech and expression to punish those who opposed her policies and pronouncements. Aside from injudicious and spiteful measures, she utilized her position to perpetrate fraudulent ploys.

■ In her speech during Quesci’s 41st Foundation Day Celebration (September 2008), she verbally intimidated the studentry, primarily dissuading them from opposing her administration.
■ In January 2009, Dr. Sadsad imposed a 10-day suspension on four students who blogged against her unpopular policies and misadministration.
■ There have been alleged irregularities in the accounting of the PTA funds which Dr. Sadsad borrowed during School Year 2008-2009.
■ It has been alleged that she solicited cash from non-passing applicants of QCSHS in exchange for their admission to our school.

These are the issues which Dr. Zenaida P. Sadsad must face head-on. The alumni of Quezon City Science High School are enjoined to take a stand against Dr. Sadsad’s return as principal. The future of our Alma Mater cannot be imperiled by misadministration. It is through this petition that we wish to collectively press for Dr. Sadsad to be dismissed from her post and undergo relevant investigations.
