I was looking at the notification feed earlier and honestly I am just spinning because the energy behind this is finally starting to feel like a real tidal wave instead of just me shouting into the void. It is wild to think about how many people actually want a place for kids to hang out downtown since for the longest time I thought it was just me and maybe the parents I see hovering by the monument.

My kids end up playing on the stone steps every single day because there is nowhere else to go. It is dangerous and Troy really needs something safer.

finally someone said it. i walk past monument square constantly and feel bad for the kids. lets get this done.
Would love to see some life in the square besides cars. A park would bring so many families downtown.
It is so hard being a parent downtown with zero options for the little ones to burn off energy. Constant worry about them falling off the monument.

Ridiculous that we have to drive 20 mins just to find a slide for the boy. Build it already.
