I do not want my children, grand children or great grand children to watch half naked men and women dancing,performing sex acts on the front lawn of court house. I do not care if you are gay, straight or what ever,there is a time and place.

I support Spencer Pride and recognize the value of these events for the continued revitalization of downtown Spencer. I am an ally, and Spencer Pride is the ONLY reason that I became aware of Spencer's existence. I have since become a passionate advocate for Spencer and have regularly encouraged people from Bloomington to visit and patronize the galleries, the brewery, restaurants, theater and coffee shops that have grown Spencer into a destination in the years since that first time I visited in 2013.

Pride is the worst thing I seen happen and on County that is preventable I have ever seen. All you have to do is look and see what pride brings everywhere it goes I don't want that food sexual perverted crap in my town especially on the courthouse square.

I have taken my kids to many events hosted around the courthouse. I remember going to the same events when I was a child. Some of my favorite memories. I want my kids to have those memories as well.

It's amazing to see how the Spencer Downtown area has continuously grown more pretty, welcoming and richer in art, culture, shops and tourist activities - and Spencer's festivals played a big role in this improvement! Please save all these amazing events!

These festivals are the heart soul of economic growth and prosperity for downtown merchants. Any perceived obstacles involving security or facilities can easily be overcome.
