The courthouse square is the keystone to our town and the courthouse lawn has been a space for the community. It would be a disgrace for a few to have the power to change our traditions. The revitalization of downtown and the growing events we host on the square have increased commerce and the overall sense of community. Spencer is a wonderful place, and the events on the square promote our town. The commissioners should be committed to ensure we continue to thrive, rather than stifle our momentum.

I regularly drive the 2 hours to get to events in Spencer. Not as a vendor but as a visitor of the community. Please don't take that away!
