As of January 2nd, 2015,in downtown Cincinnati and Over-the-Rhine, the hours of enforcement for parking meters have been changed to 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 2 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday. The extended hours are enforced by the city of Cincinnati, who is profiting while the business owners are hurting. We the petitioners believe that the long-term effects of the parking changes will harm our businesses and Cincinnati's overall economy.
The change in parking regulations has already begun to negatively impact downtown businesses by changing the patrons' ability and willingness to frequent the downtown area.
If you believe that parking in downtown Cincinnati and Over-the-Rhine should not be enforced after 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday or at all on Sunday, please sign this petition.
Feel free to contact the ten individuals responsible for initiating this change, and who also are capable of fixing it!
Together we can make a difference for our city.

Let's try some common sense thinking. If I want to go downtown for dinner and a show beginning at 6:00, and want to park at a meter, I do not want to leave my dinner early just to go feed a meter.
