The resolution to transfer the Bloomfield property has passed. This success belongs to everyone who added their name to the effort. We will now monitor the development process to ensure the transition proceeds as promised.

Le mardi 15 août en après-midi, les conseillers municipaux de la Municipalité Régionale de Halifax (MRH) vont débattre une résolution pour transférer le terrain de Bloomfield à la Province afin d'y établir une école M à 12 du CSAP.
pour la cérémonie de lever du drapeau. Apportez votre pique-nique.
Après le pique-nique, assistez au débat des conseillers municipaux.

Regional Municipality (HRM) will vote on a resolution to transfer the
Bloomfield property to the Province in order to establish a K-12 school

The focus remains entirely on the upcoming council debate regarding the transfer of the Bloomfield property. I have been preparing formal documentation to present the case for the new school to the municipal representatives.

My children go to Beaubasin, which is a lovely but highly overcrowded school. We need some representation on the peninsula. Having that central and accessable school will allow hundreds of children to have shorter commute times and more room to grow.
C'est un moment critique pour assuré une augmentation d'espaces scolaires dans la province pour nos étudiant(e)s et en particulier dans le péninsule d'Halifax. Une nouvelle école donne aussi une opportunité à la communauté de vivre en français en dehors des activités scolaires.
Les écoles francophones de HRM débordent. C'est un besoin criant d'obtenir une nouvelle école sur la péninsule. La Charte canadienne des droits et libertés (art. 23) accorde aux francophones une éducation de qualité égale à celle de la majorité.
This property ( Bloomfield ) was birthed as a centre for education therefore to give it a new birth as an education centre once again would provide a long lasting education pulse for our children and youth in a growing populated area of HRM
Il y a besoin d'une école francophone-centre communautaire dans la péninsule de Halifax there is a need for a francophone school (under CSAP)-community center in the Halifax Peninsula
Il y a grand temps d'avoir une autre école francophone.
Il y a un grand besoin pour une nouvelle ecole a Halifax. Les ecoles sont trop pleine et le transport scolaire est trop long pour certain enfants.

As a proud Acadian from New Brunswick, I was fortunate to complete my schooling in a fully immersive French language environment. I want to ensure that my son, Matéo, has the same opportunity. Language preservation is the preservation of the culture; history; and identity of a people.
