Attention: Superintendent Todd Roberts, President Deb Mexicotte Trustees: Susan Baskett,Glenn Nelson, Simone Lightfoot, Andy Thomas, Irene Patalan, Christine Stead We, the undersigned, are concerned parents and members of the community who are strongly opposed to the privatization of the Ann Arbor School Age Childcare program. We believe that the childcare programs run by the Ann Arbor Public Schools are an important part of our children’s lives. The staffs in these programs play an integral role in the emotional and education well being of our students. They are dedicated, educated individuals who we have grown to love and trust to provide a stable environment to help our children through the most important years of their lives. We believe that privatizing the AAPS child care programs is not in the best interest of the children, their families, or the overall Ann Arbor Public Schools Community.
