It is time to look at the facts for Butler County. The Sunnyview Nursing Home is a crucial piece of the infrastructure that makes Butler so livable. While leadership and management of the facility may need revamped to support staff moral and operating efficiency, the option of selling out our seniors isn't an option. Our commissioners may think they are doing their best by following a simplistic business model while the other commissioner can only manage to provide personal attacks and to antagonize the situation. Sunnyview isnot a business. It is an aid for humans to assist and help other humans keep their pride and their lives. Every human has the right to live and the responsibility to make sure that other humans in dire straits also live as full a life as possible.That's the bottom line.

The cost to each taxpayer is very small to support this wonderful facility for senior citizens and disabled persons. What are Jesus do? Certainly not kick those less fortunate people out on the street.
