No. Just no. Stop trying to make Buffalo like every other boring burg in Nowheresville, USA. If you don't like the 4am closing time go to bed. I only stay out late about 6 times a year which is down from 6 times a week 30 years ago but when I go out I want to be able to stay out until 4am like I have for the last 35 years.

I DO 30% of my business after 2AM! I will have to lay off staff, change my whole business model, and possibly close down. We don't over serve, have fights, or see mischief! We take our responsibility to run a clean and safe environment seriously! THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA THAT WILL NEGATIVELY IMPACT MANY PEOPLE.

I've been working in the bars since i was 21...this is how some people make a living...dont mess with peoples lively hoods

It’s not statistically or intelligently supported that closing the bars earlier will have any positive effect on DWI’s. Additionally, this is nothing more than specific owners looking to push out their competition.
