I work in the service industry - not only do we want to be able to enjoy going out after getting out of a shift at midnight, 1 or 2am, but this extra income keeps these great spots going!

This will have a huge detrimental effect on those who work in the hospitality industry. It's also a shot at the culinary boom that is holding Buffalo up. Plus, with the lead-laden water that runs from our faucets, Western New Yorkers will need something else to drink.

You have college life, restaurants, and the art district all praising 4am closings. If you make it 2am, watch the increasing popularity of "buffalo uprising" dwindle, guaranteed. And I'll be the first one moving to a new city.

This should be a non issue. Bring Uber in, keep the bars open until 4am if they so desire. This is all a matter of choice.

Let's concentrate on more safe driving programs like Uber, before making these kinds of changes.

I gave a decade to the bar business, it deserves more respect than it is getting.
It is unconstitutional to dis allow a U S citizen their desire to work. This proposed bill violates personal freedoms of all western New Yorkers only to benifit the concerns of a few. We as Weatern New Yorkers must stop this proposal. Our representatives need to refocus on far more important current issues within our fine city. If they want to control alcohol related injuries between the hours of 2 and 4,, they can exercise our local police force, who is already out patrolling, to find the violators and hold them accountable, with checkpoints. The freedoms of a few should not violate the masses for the "common good".

This change will cripple the night life spirit of Buffalo. I'm not one who goes to the popular club scene on Chippewa, I prefer the late night music at the Tudor Lounge and relaxing with my friends on Allen. Buffalo is one of the greatest cities in America for many reasons, and to put restrictions on our ability to enjoy life here will only slow our forward progression. Buffalo is moving forward, and I plan to die here one day. I can't wait to see what positive changes will happen by then.

We're trying to move forward as a city. Not backwards. 4am closing is a huge part of this city's nightlife culture. Don't let the statistics of bad apples ruin it for us hard working good folks.

Don't take away from things that this growing city is known for. We are trying to get people to go downtown and you are trying to limit the amount of time they can spend down there.

Changing the closing time only leads to more people on the road when civilians are and more people continuing to party out of sight from police and cameras. Get Uber to Buffalo.
