Its one of the things thats makes our city unique. It punishes the bar owners who have invested in our city and that in itself is a travesty. This law is unecessary and only hurts those involved.

Let's find ways to open up the nightlife with more robust public transportartion, allowing UBER, more food trucks/carts, events at night, everything that has made this city a DRAW and is allowing it to go through the wonderful changes it is today. Instead of finding ways to restrict that growth. This is short sighted!!!!!

If we are truly trying to become a more progressive 24 hour city, why cut the hours? Leave it be.

Don't be anti small business. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Worry about getting uber instead.

No bar owners are forced to stay open until 4am, if they want to close at 2am or 9pm they can. Cheers to staying open till 4am !

It seems that the push for earlier closings are coming from people from the suburbs. Let them close the bars early in Amherst and send late hour patrons to the CITY!

Closing time is not the problem

This is pretty unnecessary.

This is a dumb idea. Name one reason why this is necessary. Name one bad thing that won't happen between the hours of 12 to 2 am but will happen between the hours of 2:01 to 4 am. Name one.

Decrease drinking age from 21 to 19 also. Will lower binge drinking and promote drinking responsibility from an earlier age. There aren't half as many alcohol issues I Europe with a you get age limit, or our neighbors to the north, Canada either Do what's right here!

Don't see any real reason for this change - seems political

Bars, restaurants, all night gas stations, taxi companies, and local municipalities all benefit from 4am closing.
