The Buffalo night life is unique in every aspect, the atmospheres, the late night food culture, and the hours! "We the people" want things to stay the way they are.

Moving the time around only forces the people going out to bars to move up the time they start drinking

Enough already . Everyone thinks restaurants and bars are easy targets for political gains. This will not do anything but hurt operators and make 2pm a nightmare exodus from bars and the city.

The points for attempting to change this are in valid and have zero statistical backing and if changed to 2 am might actually make the make the issues spoken worse. This is like always a political tactic to try and get votes for Jacobs reelection.

I am a bartender and I work hard for my tips and rolling back the hours will severely decrease my income. Also, on the nights I get out early (like 2am) I like to grab a beer or two from a local bar that stays open a bit later than mine. Changing the closing hours does not affect big businesses that much; however it will be detrimental to the income of small businesses and the employed personnel.

it should remain pro choice. Regardless of the time, people will always find a way to get into trouble.

There will be a huge rise in DUO's at 2am if the bars close then.

This decision should be made by the city as a whole. This will harm bars and restaurants all through out Buffalo. This will harm many of the individual's who work in the industry. They will loose out on a lot of money that is needed to support their daily lives. This may cause people to start drinking earlier or drinking more to compensate for the 2 hours lost.. Sounds like more drunk drivers to me. Let's keep 4am!!!

2am is the new 30mph on the 198. Both stupid decisions made by stupid people.

There's a sort of pride that comes with living in a city that has always had a 4am closing time. I'm proud to be from Buffalo.

As a local musician, this hurts my business! The arts thrive at 3 AM, and it would probably encourage illegal after-hours clubs and other less-regulated enterprises to fill the void in our nights. That translates directly to tax dollars.

It wouldn't just interrupt the bar business, but the entertainment and food service business as well. I'm sure there would be a rise in drunk driving as well.

Bars and restaurants should be able to stay open to whatever hour they please. They are a major employer in our region and the 4am closing time is one of the unique offerings that make Buffalo such a special place for visitors and residents alike.

Bars in Spain are open until 7am and there is less crime there than in Buffalo
