People should not have to leave he bar early in one of the only cities that have the 4am close time lets keep buffalo beautiful and keep the reasons people love it !

This is not the answer. Bringing in other alternatives to the bar/drinking scene, as well as, options like Uber or other elite cab/taxi services will help lessen crime and keep people safe.

This is what Buffalo night life is known for. Our city is different from most and that's what makes Buffalo a cool place to live.

No one is stopping an establishment from choosing their own last call, and no one is forcing people to stay until last call. Why let the government choose it for you. Leave it alone, instead teach your children about responsibility and how important responsibility is in our life and society.

Completely unnecessary. Not sure why this is even a matter if you think there are too many drunks wandering causing issues then they are the ones that need to be noticed and shut off sooner. Don't ruin this for everyone. The amount of people that are smart even from other counties whom have a dd or limo etc enjoy the 4am!

Closing the bars at 2am will simply put MORE drunk people on the streets at an earlier hour. Instead of having folks weeding out of the bars between the hours of 1 and 4am, you are going to see larger numbers out driving on the roads at 2am. People will simply start their parties earlier to accommodate the earlier bar closings. Instead of starting at 10, they'll start at 8. You can't take the party out of the Buffalonian, you can simply just start it earlier. You are talking about a community of people that show up in the RV lot of a Bills game a full day or more in advance. An earlier bar closing will just move the party earlier, not prevent it from going later. Even though Buffalo has a lot more selling points than we used to, I always like to brag about our 4am closing times to my out of town friends. Why when we are just finally getting our feet under us would we take away such a fun part of our city? Drunk people will be drunk people no matter what time last call is. I don't think the actual public is being heard, just a bunch of old folks that are just jealous that their alarm clocks are going off to start their mundane lives while us young folks are enjoying the pleasure of being at The Pink when they turn the lights on, and then a steak hoagie from Jim's at 5am.

4am is the perfect time. It gives people the time to enjoy themselves. In some cases people don't go out until 12am or 1am. It's an important part of Buffalo's culture.

Keep out of it. Most alcohol related problems happen before 2 am. Also what is the 3-11 working crowd supposed to do for a social life?

What would you want to ruin a good thing? I don't drink much but I should have a choice to stay out and drink. And honestly it should be up to the bars if they stay open till four am or not. Just like how it should be up to the bar to allow smoking in side or not.

This is a joke. I work 2nd shift 60 hours a week. Honest union work. I don't get out of work untill 230. Why can't a hard working guy have a beer after work? They need to think of who is really affects. People make bad decision no matter what time it is. Not to mention impact on local businesses.
