It would be a bad idea to close bars in buffalo early, it would not only hurt the economy but it will not stop crime relate to alcohol use. People will just fine out places to gather and drink.

They should keep the closing times right at 4am. Moving it earlier will hurt alot of local businesses.

Not only does this change a unique cultural experience for Buffalonians and those visiting our great city, but it negatively affects a large group of people who were the foundation for commerce in the city during the "dark ages".

All that closing the bars early will do is take money out of the pockets of service industry workers , as well as limit the growth of the service industry at a time where Buffalo finally has things on the upswing .

Forcing the bars to close earlier would have a distinctly negative effect on the vibrant local music scene.

Don't take our right away as patrons or the rights away from bar owners.

This is ridiculous, there should not be any restrictions at least on the timings of a business. It will be a big blow not only to businesses but also to the government in terms of sales taxes.

Let's please think this through and understand that making this change will have a very negative impact to the livelihood of MANY people. Let's continue to celebrate this great city as it is, with all the aspects that make it a unique experience. We have gained positive national attention as a city on the rise.
Additionally, people are creatures of habit. There will continue to be a lively presence well into the hours that people are used to now - it will just end up on the streets and will precipitate a rise in other, less desirable aspects taking place. Think this through.

No new LAW is needed! Any business that wants to close at 2 am is already free to do so! You should be looking to HELP, not hinder!! What's wrong with you?!
