Erie county is already on the verge of an economical crisis with the rise of minimum wage over the next 5 years. On top of that, your going to take away 2 extra hours of profit from bar owners… does this government know how to economy, or are you just dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of Facebook memes.
This is what makes Buffalo... Buffalo. Don't change that.

Having bars in buffalo open until four is part of the culture here. It's part of what makes our nightlife different. If it ain't broke don't fix it

Mandatory closing time goes against the very principle of a free market and society. If a bar wants to stay open 24/7 then it should be the decision of the business. If you don't like it, then don't go to the bar until 4 am. What positive outcomes will this have? Drunks will still drive home at any hour.

Working in the industry for years in more than on state, one with a 2 am closing time, this law will not change the DUI rate. In fact may only make the amount of alcohol consumed in a shorter period of time worse. Please help this city develop better and more reliable options for public transportation

It's great for a tourist draw..especially with "our" tailgating, pre partian' ways.. increase more drive/you/get/you home services and extend Public Transportation Service to accommodate!!

Our sevice industry is a huge community of people! Don't listen to people who don't even enjoy our nightlife and are miserable to ruin it for an entire county of people!!!

There is insufficient evidence that supports the need for an earlier closing time. Our later nights creates an economic advantage over neighboring counties and fair competition with the Seneca casinos. A later bar closing is not the factor of alcohol abuse or additional accidents.

It would ruin a lot if the bars closed at 2 and it wouldn't help people would just get drunk somewhere else and people might drink faster because they don't have enough time
