Don't roll back the closing time for bars & restaurants

I'm a pro musician... Changing the hours could effect bar business and pay out to bands... Do not change the time.

Closing them early people will lose out on earning money

As a service industry work I do not support rolling back the closing time. I often make most of my money between 2&4 am. And the night I don't work late it's nice to be able to grab a drink when I'm done at 3am and unwind from work. By rolling back the time your just going to push everyone in to drinking more in a shorter amount of time causing more drink drivers and more accidents.

Alot of my very close friends dont get to come out till late and its only time i get to c them closing bars esrlier woukd cut that out and ruin alot

Discriminating against shift workers is not just and right. Furthermore it has been shown in the UK not regulating hours for such establishments has led to less issues that this Bill aims to address.

There are only a handful of bars open until 4am as it is. This is part of why they stay open. If you change the closing times then please send checks to all the businesses you are going to be shutting down.

I don't even drink but our bars being open that long is definitely an attraction for tourist

I work different shifts and would like to go out for a drink after work

I'm a working woman and student with two children. On the occasions when I get a chance to go out, I may not get out until after 12 due to work and motherly duties. I'm OK with the late start because I know I have until 4am to be settled somewhere. If I only had until 2am, I just wouldn't go and support an establishment because there's no point in going out with less than 2 hours with parking etc... that's a loss of consumer dollars and funds for the businesses of this city

Buffalo is a city unlike any other - rich in tradition, history and culture. I have lived in other countries and in many cities within the United States - none is quite as unique and magical as Buffalo. The city's free canalside concerts are a treasue and highlight of the summer. Sunday midnight bike rides en-masse liven up the sleeping streets. Even more special for the Queen city is its 4 am bar & restaurant closing time. Buffalo is not New York City - it has much less topography, business, citizens and cash to sustain its growth. Key to that growth is a dynamic and involved influx of young people. With its 4 am bar closing time, Buffalo has a chance to charm out of state college students into calling the city home. Buffalo's close proximity to Canada also holds revenue stream possibilities for late-night revelers of the visiting persuasion. The smell of Cheerios and late-night dancing are some of my fondest memories of the Queen city - Buffalo is by far the most gregariously fun city I have ever lived in - most of that fun happened for me every weekend between the hours of midnight and 4 am, where I danced away my troubles downtown amongst friends. Don't take this important tradition away from your citizens. Young or old, single or married, gay or straight, the 4 am closing time for Buffalo bars is one thing everone and anyone can enjoy in their own way. - Chipper F. Xavier, Esq.

I've been in the service industry for 28 years. Let 2nd shifters have a choice if they'd like to decompress after work just like a 9 to 5'er.

I work till midnight I only get four hours to enjoy myself a night on the weekends this is the dumbest thing mayor brown has come up with to date and I'm not afraid to say so

I firmly believe this will increase drunk driving, as many people go out with the intent of sobering up later in the night. If bars close earlier, this later time to sober up will be compromised. Furthermore, people will simply go out earlier or play "catch up", thus resulting in the same issue.

Please do not change closing time. 4a closing time is one of my favorite parts of living in the Buffalo area. Being able to go out after I get out of work if I so choose is a nice option to have. 2a closing would all but eliminate that option.

This is just plain stupid, this rollback will not stop drinking if the bars close at 2 instead of 4..there are people who work late at would like just to calm down after work with a few friends or their wives or husbands and enjoy a few drinks and maybe a late night out..you will rob the good people of that privilege..the bars i usually go to that late are responsible people who will not serve people who come in already drunk or stop serving drinks to those who are there and send them home in a cab...this is not a good thing for this city who is trying to bring good life to this city...thanks
