Since the recent datacenter move by WB Games, Turbine's Quality of Service has taken a rather sharp nosedive. Quests in parties, per the PvE Party-based game design, are now uncompletable due to simple pathing and rendering causing extreme engine latency that renders some of the more challenging (even with basic mechanics) quests uncompletable (even with strings of miracles, they simply cannot be done). This appears to be a deliberate attempt by WB Games to destroy what is left of the DDO community by simple Denial of Service (in this case, a latency-free gaming experience on all levels is the service). If it was not deliberate, the community would have been clearly notified by Turbine and/or WB Games of attempts to remedy the situation. This has not been the case. A strong silence has been maintained on both fronts. We, the players, would like steps to be taken to render DDO lag-free both on the Network (Server and ISP) side and on the Client (Engine) side.
