The Rhondda Cynon Taf have vowed to house 50 Muslim refugee families at a cost of over 1.5 million! The council haven't asked people in the communities what they really think about this, they have just gone ahead and offered to do it.

Our local hospitals, doctors surgeries and schools are struggling, yet the council can afford to buy brand new houses on brand new estates for migrants! There are vulnerable pensioners and homeless people in the Rhondda Cynon Taf, its not financially viable to house migrants.

I just heard on the news this morning that the number of British homeless families has jumped by 300% recently and that there are 10's of 1000's in temporary accommodation like B&B's and hostels. Why aren't families like this being given the same priority as foreign migrants?

It is wrong for a local council to use local finances in this way without the full agreement of those they perport to represent. It is wrong to allow any foreign national, legitimate or otherwise, to simply jump the queue in front of those who are waiting for housing/assistance.

We struggle to house young families how can we suddenly house 50 refugee families who cannot contribute to the system. I pay enough taxes now I cannot afford to have anymore taken off me.

Closing our leisure facilities, closing our hospitals, less and less for our kids to do and you got 1.5 mil to spend on people from thousands of miles away......disgrace

Charity begins at home - as does citizen safety. I trust there is no-one on the social housing waiting list that will be elbowed aside by these incomers ?

Completely against this, the council has done this behind everyone's backs. . Local surgeries are being closed in areas where pensioners are vulnerable. Why should we pay tax for this?

Will you protect the local population when these refugees reveals their true allegiance is to I.S.

From the news I am seeing there doesn't seem to be any gratitude or relief at reaching any 'safe' country. Just demands and violence.
