The Greene County Legislature officially adopted the ban on fracking waste usage across our roads and facilities. This resolution closes the loophole we identified to protect our local water systems. We will continue monitoring the implementation process to ensure full compliance with these new regulations.

The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the County Legislature to discuss our proposed ban. I am currently finalizing the legal language for the policy changes we intend to present at that hearing.

No way do we need fracking waste anywhere near our local water treatment plants. Protect our natural resources for once.
Keep this toxic junk out of our county! We dont want it on our roads and we definitely dont want it in our water supply. What are they thinking?
Ridiculous that this is even a debate. Keep the roads safe and clean. Nobody wants to breathe or touch that stuff.
This is common sense. Stop using our home as a dump for your chemicals!
My kids play outside and I wont have their health compromised because the county wants to save a few bucks on road salt. BAN IT NOW.
