Ive lived on Oregon way for 6 year right next to the grass verge and extremely worried not just the the peace and quiet around this section of Oregon way but for the wild life brook farm is a haven for wildlife I will consider moving me and family if such thing happens thats how strongly I am against it SAVE BROOK FARM

this area is so beautiful my kids love going on there walks out there and so do my dogs i think its wrong whats happening as ive seen so many empty places around derby to build on this is not only going to disturb the people of oregon way but disturb all the wildlife there too i think they should reconsider it its been like this for years why change it now!

So would this become 'Spondesden' ? we need some green around us not only to divide the suburbs but also just somewhere to go when you want to escape. Somewhere to take the dog, somewhere to take the kids for a long walk, somewhere to enjoy nature. Isnt oakwood big enough? why do we need more housing in this area? Could it be about money, surely the council would not put money before everything would they?

Leave the green alone. For Radleigh it is all about the profit, nothing more and never will be as a business despite any other claims.

Acorn way would not be able to cope with the extra cars. Moreover, it would be such a shame to lose this bit of countryside to houses. One of the main things that brought us to Morley Road in Oakwood was that there was still areas of 'green'.

Schools, Doctors are overstretched now it will be terrible plus the amount of traffic it will generate is not good.

The Raynesway Island already needs Traffic Lights and it will be made even worse with more traffic. I wonder why there has already been some widening at the this island with the recent roadworks. Was this in readiness for the new housing? Also, Acorn Way is already quite dangerous and it will be much worse as a result of these proposals.

Proposed junction on Acorn Way a recipe for disaster. Also if Acorn Way is closed any time (this does happen!) will there be access to the new housing for emergency vehicles? Surely a better site is available for housing.

Government support of greedy developers has always been a threat to the "green belt" and other, often rural, locations. The Coalition's heavy-handed overhaul of the planning regulations has seriously worsened things; here's a good example. This spoiling of open spaces involving harm to wildlife must stop.
