Instead of build, build, build, the government should be tackling the root cause of the problem which is over-population. And we all know how that's come about don't we ?

There are plenty of brown field sites in Derby that are an eyesore so don't use green belt. This was always gong to happen after the government relaxed the planning laws. I hope it is rejected.

No more decimation of our local beauty spots. Keep off the Green Belt areas. Consider the traffic implications which would all be dangerous.

Would be extremely dangerous going into Acorn Way due to the fact that the nature of the road, bends and hills, would cause any access from new development would cause accidents.

Acorn Way is far too busy to accommodate a new junction, it will be dangerous and the flooding issues still remain a priority.

The proposed exit /entrance road is not suitable,and flooding will become an issue.

I have fond memories of walking the dogs on these fields, my grandy died this year and he was chaddesden born and bred he told me all the stories of why these fields were so important to save... Soldiers camped on these fields during the war soldiers from America they have so much history what is the point in building on these fields at the angel they are at would be a nightmare. When also there are so many homes that are left for ruin that could be renovated into homes for people. Use what we have instead of building crap houses and using the land that so many people still use. Why spoil the landscape to add more houses that we don't want around here. I have pictures of acorn way being built over those fields! Leave the rest alone, let kids enjoy walking across them to get to locko park like I did when I was growing up and let youngsters appreciate the green we have left.

This green space is vital for the people of Chaddesden. Say no to Radleigh. Say no to Derby City Council's dealings with developers.

Does Radleigh/Council have the courage to hold a meeting in Chaddesden to explain how this is going to affect the local community on all the issues we have raised ? Not least the access to the site. I suspect we are going to be the last to know how our community is going to be affected, but Radleigh and the Council know just what knowledge they are withholding from the residents...

We've lived across from here for 26 ours kids played up there we walk our dog daily up there why let it get taken away just to line the pockets! It's disgusting

I grew up on these fields itl be sad to let them distroy it! Typical see some land and think money lets build some thing! What about the animals? Foxes? Birds? Etc

This site is totally unsuitable for development. The access issues have not been resolved and the infrastructure is inadequate to cope with the current population let alone 200 more homes! Please everyone support the residents by signing this petition.

My children and grandchildren should be able to see the beauty of nature not have to travel miles to find it.... its a simple 2 minute walk to get to brook farms from my house and our whole family love to walk it... Do not ruin the nature and the happiness of all chaddesden residents for a "little more extra cash in your pockets!"
