Dear citizens and sports enthusiasts,
Dolores Park is being renovated with a budget of about $8 million and the Recreation and Park Department is having a series of public meetings to draft a plan for improvements to drainage, access and restrooms. Also possible are changes in the paved playing courts at the north edge of the park.

Currently there are 6 tennis courts and one basketball court seeing heavy use in the park. This is a great opportunity to broaden access to the paved playing courts to other uses such as:
- inline skate/foot hockey
- soccer
- bike polo
- roller skating
- roller derby
- martial arts
- dodge ball
- yoga
The west most court, currently tennis, could become a flexible, multi use court with simple removal of the tennis net/posts. Or the basketball court could be refitted with backboard posts anchored outside the fence and playing area.

Please help reconfigure Dolores Park courts for multiple uses with a simple click at this address  http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/dolores_park_mixed_use_court/
Make sure to get your friends and family to sign too!
